When it comes to adding new music, ringtones or other files, iPhones are not as straightforward as other smartphones. First-time users may find it a bit difficult to get used to iTunes. If you are looking for an easier way to manage your iPhone's contents, SynciOS is the application you should try. It displays everything on your iPhone or other iOS-powered devices, from pictures to contacts, and it allows you to manage them, add new contents or back up existing ones.

The software is available in free and paid editions. It can be installed fast, without making any complex settings, but you need to have iTunes on your computer. It works on Windows XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8 and it provides support for most iOS versions. You can use SynciOS on mostly any iPhone, iPad or iPod models.

If you connect an iOS device to your computer, via direct cable, SynciOS will detect it automatically and you will be able to access the device's data right away. You can access your iTunes library, local media library, miscellaneous tools, as well as general information about the connected device, its media files and other contents, by clicking a series of navigation tabs, located in a column, on the left side of the user interface. If you wish to store music or videos on your mobile device, all you have to do is select the files, in the iTunes or media library and click a button.

Certain media formats are not supported by iOS, but you can use the software's miscellaneous tools to convert music and videos. Besides selecting an output path and format, you can also tick an option to send the converted files to one of the connected devices, when the conversion process is done. Also, creating a ringtone the traditional way is a complex process. You have to trim audio files, convert them, change their extensions and so on. With SynciOS, everything can be done on the same window. You can trim a targeted audio file, play your selection and click a button to generate the ringtone and send it to your iPhone immediately.

Besides general information about your device, you can also access its media files and playlists, photos, ebooks, apps, file system and contacts. In all cases, you can back up individual items or everything in a single run. It is also possible to create new contacts or edit existing ones, install new apps and much more.
